The standard ring is a band just to hold the diamond ring. It is usually a simple band- shiny and delicate and easy to make.
A classic ring is very different.
We are putting our intention into the setting
And the band is not just something to hold the stone.
When I design a ring I put my mind on the combination of the diamond and the ring
In this concern the setting is not something standing out, its not a patch, it is an artwork in itself.
The prongs that hold the diamond or gemstone, they themselves have a language in the way they look
This is what the classic style is.
Classic is harmony, proportion, and beauty
